Launch of the Erasmus+ ESGCA International Project January 20–23, 2025 | University of Genoa, Italy
The European Documentation Center of Kyrgyz National University participated in the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ CBHE ESGCA project, Bridging Environmental Concerns, Societal Needs and Good Governance in Central Asian Education and Employment Sectors, held at the University of Genoa, Italy.
The event brought together representatives from universities and organizations across the European Union and Central Asia. Over the course of four days, participants discussed the project’s overall structure, the distribution of responsibilities among partner institutions, the project timeline, governance and management mechanisms, quality assurance procedures, and strategies for disseminating project results.
Particular attention was given to the development of a modern ESG-focused master’s degree program, the establishment of specialized ESG Centers at universities across Central Asia, the design of new academic courses, and the strengthening of collaboration among universities, government institutions, and employers.
Significance for the European Documentation Center
Participation in the kick-off meeting enabled the European Documentation Center to define its key responsibilities within the project, develop a national implementation plan, and strengthen partnerships with leading European universities.
