International Study Tour “D-TIDE-KG: Digital Transformation of Doctoral Education” 25–29 May 2026, Vilnius University (Lithuania)

Representatives of the Center for European Documentation participated in an international Study Tour organized as part of the Erasmus+ D-TIDE-KG project at Vilnius University.

The main theme of the program was the digital transformation of doctoral education, the implementation of innovative educational technologies, the development of researchers’ digital competencies, and the creation of an inclusive learning environment for doctoral students.

During the visit, participants learned about the activities of Vilnius University’s Doctoral School, modern digital platforms supporting PhD training, the organization of scientific research, and the support system for young scholars.

Particular attention was paid to issues of academic integrity, the digitization of learning processes, and the international integration of doctoral programs.

Significance for the European Documentation Center

Participation in the Study Tour provided an opportunity to examine best European practices in organizing PhD training, which will be utilized in implementing reforms to doctoral education in Kyrgyzstan.
