As part of the international Study Tour program of the Erasmus+ D-TIDE-KG project, an official meeting was held between representatives of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kyrgyz universities, and the leadership of Vilnius University.
During the meeting, participants discussed prospects for developing cooperation between universities in Kyrgyzstan and Lithuania, as well as issues related to modernizing doctoral education, improving the quality of training for research personnel, and expanding academic mobility.
Particular attention was paid to the development of joint research, the integration of digital technologies into the educational process, the strengthening of international partnerships, and the exchange of expertise in the field of PhD training.
Representatives of the European Documentation Center actively participated in discussions on areas for further cooperation and the implementation of activities under the D-TIDE-KG project.

The meeting marked an important step in strengthening the Center for European Documentation’s international ties with European universities and expanding opportunities for joint research and educational initiatives in the field of doctoral education.
