Regional Conference of European Documentation Centres in Central Asia

On May 15, 2007, a regional conference of the European Documentation Centres of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The main goal of the conference was to establish and enhance regional cooperation among the European Documentation Centres in Central Asia. Discussions focused on shared objectives, joint activities, and strategies to promote European integration studies and EU-related information dissemination in the region.
The conference was attended by the directors of the Centres:
• Kyrgyzstan – Chinara Adamkulova,
• Kazakhstan – Kuralay Bayzakova,
• Tajikistan – Khusrav Shambezoda.
This meeting marked an important step in building a collaborative network of EDCs in the region and encouraging cross-border academic initiatives.
